I finally took the car for a run with the new engine .. and it was working pretty well .. the carbs clearly need a tuneup as it doesn't want to cross 6,000 rpm and if it does it is complaining a fair bit .. but ... the biggest concern was the clutch ..
Locosaki 7 on trailer before run.
If you can remember i used the rear brake master cylinder and it seemed as if there was not enough 'throw' on the clutch slave .. i bought a new master cylinder for a nissan car and this mounted up fine .. but after engaging first it 'grabs' pretty severly ..
